How does a newborn shoot work?

• You can already contact me during your pregnancy. I will take your due date into account as much as possible, so that we can preferably do the shoot within 20 days of delivery.
• The photo shoot will take place in my specially equipped studio for newborn photography in Lelystad. I only do newborn photo shoots between 7 and 20 days after birth.
• Of course I also take pictures of you as a family.
• I do not photograph babies between 3 weeks and 8 months old! Due to there not being enough variety. It is possible to book a Mommy me shoot. Look for this on the “Mommy me” page.
• The shoot takes about 2-3 hours. Everything happens in a relaxed atmosphere. After all, your baby has just been born and needs its rest. That’s why I advice you to not bring extra people such as grandma and grandpa during the photo shoot.
• I have various cloths, wraps, baskets and accessories that are specially made for newborn photography, you are free you use these, and you won’t have to bring anything else.

• I don’t work with caps, hairbands, pants and/or suits. My style is quite timeless and pure.
• You will receive 5 pre-selected photos in high resolution.
• You will receive a selection of photos in web resolution with logo through a link to choose which photos you want.
• You will receive the selected photos both digital and in a digital album. Optionally this album can be ordered as a print.
• All photos can be ordered on various materials and are produced with very high quality.
• Additional photos can be reordered if desired. Download the price list at the bottom of the website.
• Photos are kept for 6 weeks, after this they are deleted and can not be re-ordered. 
• Het Fotohuisje has the right to use the photos taken for its own promotion. This can be: posting on website, blog, social media and/or printed matter and submission for photo competitions. If you prefer not to, communicate this during the session.
